The company LLC "KANN PROJECT" manufactures catchment (accumulation) wells KANN K designed for water drainage and water supply systems.
Considering the functions performed, KANN K catch basins can be used as linear, inspection, junction, turn, and drop catch basins.
The KANN series K accumulating wells are completely airtight. All connections are tested in factory conditions. They can also be used as sand traps when installed in the stormwater drainage system; additionally, KNS (a pumping station) and water metering units can be based on these wells. The well's body is made of KANN's spiral-wound polyethylene pipe and features a monolithic welded construction.

By type we distinguish 2 types:
Two types of sewage receiving wells are used on the sites. Both accumulate water, but they channel it into the soil in different ways.
The ordinary water intake is a receiving drainage well with blind walls, from which water flows into a ravine, body of water, or ditch.
A drainage intake well installation is necessary when there are no natural reservoirs for water drainage. The liquid passes through the drainage layer at the bottom of the well and exits through drainage pipes beyond the site.
The intake wells for stormwater drainage are primarily installed in areas with a high groundwater level. The well kit consists of the following main components: working shaft, plug, hatch, and fittings for pipes.

The essence of stormwater catch basins is to receive liquid and store it or transport it subsequently. The basins are installed at the final stage of organizing the water supply and drainage system. A catch basin is placed at the lowest point of the site. The main purpose of such systems is to divert runoff into the ground. Accumulating sewage basins can quickly rid the site of excess stormwater and wastewater. The water collected in the basin can be used for irrigating plants. It is supplied to the surface using a pump.
Installation of a sump pit for sewage is a necessary measure in case of excessive soil moisture. Signs of oversaturated soil may include:
- Undermined building foundation. Moisture deteriorates the concrete foundation if the stormwater drainage cannot cope with its task.
- Dying trees. If fruit and berry trees have been standing in water for a long time in spring, there is a high likelihood that they will dry out in summer.
- Abundance of puddles in the area. After rain, the soil becomes oversaturated with moisture, and water remains on the surface for a long time without being absorbed.
