The KANN X series deep biological wastewater treatment plant is designed for the biological treatment of household wastewater in individual sewage systems for cottages, country houses, standalone buildings, infrastructure facilities, and other decentralized sewage systems.
The stations implement an environmentally friendly biological wastewater treatment technology using autotrophic and heterotrophic microorganisms that operate under aerobic and anaerobic conditions, along with the stabilization of excess sludge and subsequent treatment processes.
All structural elements of the KANN X series station are made of corrosion-resistant material – polyethylene. The body is based on a spiral-wound pipe (KANN SWP) with a wall thickness of 30 mm. The product is welded using butt and extrusion welding methods, ensuring high strength of the weld seams. The stations are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST 25298-82 - Compact installations for the treatment of domestic wastewater.
The station consists of a cylindrical container divided into four technological chambers/zones, interconnected by gravity overflows and pre-installed airlifts. The discharge of purified water is carried out by gravity or forcibly using a drainage pump (the pump is not included in the package).
The KANN X series station is suitable for permanent residence. All structural elements and components of the X series stations that come into contact with wastewater are made of corrosion-resistant polymers. Maintenance of the station involves periodic pumping of excess sludge. Pumping is carried out using a drainage pump (lowered through the maintenance hatch) or by a vacuum truck.
The vertical biological treatment station of the KANN X series has a capacity ranging from 800 to 1600 liters per day and is designed for the accommodation of 3 to 8 people. The principle of operation of the septic tank is based on fine bubble aeration created by the aeration unit supplied as part of the package. Due to the air supply into the station and additional cleaning mechanisms, wastewater is treated to an efficiency level of 98%. The resulting water is odorless, transparent, and colorless. Such water can be drained into the ground.

Model calculation and selection
The performance of the biological treatment plant (BTP) is determined by the volume of wastewater (m3) per day. The calculation is typically made based on the number of permanent users. Water consumption standards per user (consumer) are defined in SN 4.01.02-2019. For residential buildings with hot and cold water supply and sewage systems with bathtubs, the average water consumption norm per user per day is 150/200 liters.
To determine the performance of the station, it is necessary to multiply the maximum number of users by the water consumption of one user per day. For example, the 'KANN X5' station, designed to service 4-5 people, has a performance of 1200 liters per day (1.2 m3/day).
