Biological Treatment Plants KANN® V-Series
for the treatment of domestic sewage
The KANN V series deep biological wastewater treatment station is designed for the biological treatment of domestic sewage in individual wastewater disposal systems for cottages, country houses, standalone buildings, infrastructure facilities, and other decentralized sewage systems.
At the stations, an environmentally friendly technology for biological wastewater treatment is implemented, utilizing autotrophic and heterotrophic microorganisms that operate in aerobic and anaerobic conditions, stabilizing excess sludge followed by additional treatment processes.
All structural elements of the KANN series V station are made of corrosion-resistant material – polyethylene. The body is based on a spiral-wound pipe (SWP KANN) with a wall thickness of 30 mm. The product is welded using butt and extrusion welding, ensuring high strength of the welded seams. The stations are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST 25298-82 - Compact installations for the treatment of domestic wastewater.
The station consists of a cylindrical tank divided into 4 (four) technological chambers/zones, interconnected by gravity overflow and pre-installed airlifts. Each station allows for the disposal of treated water through either gravity drainage or forced discharge via a pump (the pump is provided optionally).
The KANN series V station is suitable for seasonal living (country house option). Thanks to its vertical design, the V series station can be installed on small plots of land and can also be placed near buildings. An undeniable advantage of the stations in this series is the convenience of maintenance, which is due to the presence of a wide square lid. Excess sludge can be pumped out using a drainage pump or by a vacuum truck.
The vertical biological treatment station KANN series V has a capacity ranging from 700 to 1600 liters per day and is designed for 2 to 8 residents. The principle of operation of the septic system is based on fine bubble aeration created by the aeration unit supplied in the package. By injecting air into the station, as well as additional purification mechanisms, the wastewater is completely treated to a level of 98%. The water output is odorless, transparent, and colorless. Such water can be drained into the ground.

Model calculation and selection
The performance of the biological treatment station (BTS) is determined by the amount of wastewater (m3) per day. The calculation is typically made based on the number of permanent users. The norms for water consumption per user (consumer) are defined in the Technical Code of Practice 45-4.01-56-2012. For residential buildings equipped with hot and cold water supply and sewage systems with bathtubs, the average daily water consumption norm per user is 150/200 liters.
To determine the performance of the station, you need to multiply the maximum number of users by the daily water consumption per user. For example, the station "KANN V-6" has a performance of 1000 liters per day (1 m3/day) for servicing 5 people.
